Former Inter striker Adriano is putting his money where his mouth is ahead of the Champions League Final, betting circa €2,000 his old team will beat Manchester City.
The showdown is on Saturday at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
Pep Guardiola and his multi-million pound squad are the favourites to lift the trophy for the first time in their history, which would also complete the Treble with the Premier League and FA Cup this season.
However, Adriano has so much faith in his beloved Nerazzurri that he posted on Instagram a bet worth 10,000 Brazilian Reais (circa €2,000 or £1,640) on an Inter victory.
If he wins, then L’Imperatore will pocket 75,000 Brazilian Reais, almost £12,300.
Now 41, Adriano Leite Ribeiro joined Inter in 2001 and flourished while on loan at Fiorentina and Parma before returning to base in 2004.
However, his life and career spiralled out of control after failing to deal with the sudden death of his father and he eventually retired at Miami United in 2016.
