Former Inter and Brazil striker Adriano has reassured fans that he is recovering from a ‘hand’ injury.
It had been reported on Thursday that Adriano was taken to hospital, and L’Imperatore confirmed his hand had become inflamed due to an infection but was feeling better.
“How am I? Not bad, I injured my hand, which is now inflamed,” he said an Instagram video.

“How am I? Not bad, I injured my hand, which is now inflamed,” he said an Instagram video.
“I went to hospital to understand what had happened. The doctor told me: ‘we’ll operate and see what’s there.’
“It’s nothing more than that. I hope the Press doesn’t invent things, like they always do.”
Adriano scored over 70 goals across spells with Inter, Fiorentina and Parma and was considered one of the world’s best players in the mid-2000s, but his career soon spiralled out of control after the death of his father.
