Adriano has played just 144 minutes in Serie A this season, finding the competition for places up front at Roma too much to handle.

Last week he expressed his unhappiness with a lack of playing time in the capital, telling a magazine back home that Claudio Ranieri doesn't consider him part of his plans.

Corinthians striker Ronaldo has repeatedly encouraged Adriano to join the club, partly so he has a successor ready and waiting once he decides to retire this time next year.

Asked about the reports claiming Adriano has agreed to leave, Sensi told Sky Italia: "The Brazilian is and will remain a Roma player."
