Milan are hoping to sell Yacine Adli this summer and have received an offer from Al-Shaabab, but the midfielder would prefer to stay in the Lombardy capital.

The 23-year-old Frenchman did not see a single minute of action in the Rossoneri’s pre-season friendly against Manchester City in the United States on Saturday, remaining on the bench as Alessandro Florenzi lined up alongside Ismael Bennacer.

Even after Florenzi’s injury, Paulo Fonseca decided not to deploy the French midfielder, instead bringing on Tommaso Pobega. Milan have transfer listed the 23-year-old Frenchman and are waiting for offers to arrive before the end of the market.

Adli position

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Al-Shaabab have drawn up an offer worth around €14m for Adli, which Milan would gladly accept, but the Frenchman is not interested in the move and wants to stay with the Rossoneri.

Last season, the 23-year-old scored one goal and provided two assists in 1860 minutes of action across 33 appearances.
