Yacine Adli’s agent is currently at the Milan headquarters to discuss a possible transfer from Girondins de Bordeaux.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the representative is in a meeting with Rossoneri directors this afternoon.

The previous offer of €10m plus bonuses was rejected, while Bordeaux are asking for circa €15m.

According to the latest reports from Calciomercato.com, Milan can raise their bid to €12m plus bonuses.

Personal terms have already been agreed with the midfielder, for circa €1.5m per year plus performance-related bonuses until June 2025.

Adli just turned 21 and came up through the PSG youth academy, before his transfer to Bordeaux in January 2019 for €5.5m.

He won’t be the only midfield reinforcement, as Tiemoue Bakayoko is also on his way from Chelsea, on loan with an option to buy.

The Rossoneri also made a signing today, getting Pietro Pellegri on loan with option to buy from AS Monaco at a total cost of €7m.

  1. I don’t understand. Why do we need him after Bakayoko? I thought he’s not suited to the attacking midfield role. Although, I’d still take him over the likes of Corona or Sarabia, but this doesn’t really make sense.

Unless … Milan are actually going to sell Kessie!

  2. From the look of things Milan will sell Kessie,Castillejo loan out Pobega and if possible Krunic and Maldini probably will be loaned out it will make lot f sense if we can sign Vlasic and Corona then we are go to compete with inter,Juventus,Roma and Napoli for the league

  3. ppl dont understand that milan dont need attacking midfielder – milan need playmaker. to control games with our geometric football. adli is kind of a playmaker. for the attack we need wingers who cut to the center.

  4. We will have to believe in Maldini and Massara. I mean from our previous year we got decent young talent like Hauge and Saelemaekers. We don’t even know who Saelemaekers was until he get regular starter. For Hauge case he was just unlucky, he has talent but seems like the coach prefer others, but in the end we still got sales revenue from him. Tbh I even prefer Hauge than Leao on the left, Leao has big talent in him, but he lacks grit. Hauge on the other hand also has talent (not as big as Leao I think) but he has grit. Not to mention Tomori was also a big surprise.

So, for now I think we have to be content for the current squad as we already got Pellegri (hope he doesn’t get injured quickly), Brahim (for 2 years), Tonali (needs to prove himself) also Balo-Toure and Maignan. Even we got good experienced players like Giroud and Florenzi.

If we can get Adli, Bakayoko or even Corona/Messias I think it’s good for the depth of the squad.

  5. Milan wont sell kessie, we need depth to be able to compete on all fronts which also includes the champions league.
Adli is a promising young player that can really help the team.
    Forza Milan.

  6. Kessie and Bennacer both will gone in January for their national team.
    Milan need reliable covers.

Competing in Serie A, UCL, and Coppa, we don’t know what is going to happen.
If our main stars get injured, we would be glad to have some solid backup.

Personally, I like Corona. He can give Milan boost in right wing (which is really lacking)
