The Partenopei are at their pre-season training camp at Dimaro, and the owner signed some autographs and joked with some fans this morning.

“In life dreaming means not living, you can keep on dreaming but then you don’t wake up,” De Laurentiis responded, as quoted by calciomercato.com.

One asked if the club could be sold to Chinese investors, but the patron categorically ruled that out.

“In life dreaming means not living, you can keep on dreaming but then you don’t wake up,” De Laurentiis responded, as quoted by calciomercato.com.

“Do you always dream of the same thing? You Neapolitans would deserve it if I sold to the Chinese.

“As long as I live Napoli will be with me. Last season we made ourselves felt in the league, don’t you know there are only 19 teams in the league?”

One fan responded “Mr President, we want to win”, which drew a withering response.

“Then you should support Juventus.

“You [the fans] also have to spend money to make sure we can move on the transfer market. We do our part…”

It was then argued that season tickets are too expensive.

“A season ticket should cost 10 times more than a ticket, because you have an assigned seat. You’ll see when we have my stadium we won’t have these problems. The stadium should be full every day.”
