Adana Demirspor reportedly sent directors to Italy today to try and reach an agreement for Chelsea loanee Tiemoué Bakayoko, who is a redundant figure at Milan.

The 28-year-old French midfielder returned to the Rossoneri from the Blues in August 2021, joining on a two-year loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached.

Bakayoko hardly featured in Milan’s Scudetto success last season, playing just 493 minutes of Serie A action, and this season he’s not made a single appearance under Stefano Pioli.

Multiple reports in Turkey detail how Adana Demirspor sent directors to Milan today to try and close out a deal for Bakayoko, who seems destined to leave Lombardy soon.

Coached by Vincenzo Montella, Adana currently sit 4th in the Turkish Super Lig after 18 games, nine points behind league leaders Galatasaray.

A number of former Serie A stars are currently plying their trade in Turkey, including Dries Mertens and Mauro Icardi.
