“It’s going to be a decisive match for Champions League qualification,” the defender told Lazio Style Radio.
“We know how important this game is and hope the result goes our way. We need humility to shake off fear and tension. We can win or lose against anyone. Hopefully tonight we get the spark to set us alight.”
There are changes for Lazio at the back, with Adam Marusic joining the back three.
“My role is at the centre of a three-man defence, but I do well on the left too, as it allows me to push forward more. The whole team works with the defence, it’s not just us back there.
“Marusic has the physicality and the pace to do well as a centre-back too.”
