Francesco Acerbi insists it is ‘no coincidence’ that Italy are getting such remarkable results ahead of Euro 2020.
The Azzurri are unbeaten since September 2018 and have won their last eight games in a row, scoring 25 goals and conceding zero.
“This is a strong group, we all get along, we care about each other and we are all on the same page,” Lazio defender Acerbi told RAI Sport.
“It’s no coincidence we are getting these results.”
They begin their Euro 2020 campaign against Turkey on June 11, then face Switzerland and Wales.
The Nazionale are unbeaten in 27 games between friendlies, Euro 2020 qualifiers and Nations League fixtures.
