Francesco Acerbi believes Italy played a good game against Poland and says the Azzurri ‘Only missed the goal.'
“It was an excellent game, we only missed the goal,” Acerbi told Rai Sport after the final whistle.
“We only missed the goal but it was a good match.”
Robert Lewandowski was his direct opponent but the Lazio defender managed to nullify him.
“He is great striker, there are good players in Poland and we had a good game”, he insisted.

“The ball bounced poorly, we tried to do what we could by playing as we know, sometimes we succeeded sometimes no.”
The Azzurri will face Holland in Bergamo on Wednesday.
