Christian Pulisic is only under contract with AC Milan until June 2027, but there are reports the club is confident he’ll accept a new deal.

The USMNT star revitalised his career at San Siro since making the move from Chelsea in 2023 for €20.8m plus add-ons.

He has found the net an impressive 34 times along with 23 assists in 103 competitive games for the Rossoneri.

His current contract runs to June 2027, although the club does retain an option to extend by one more year.

According to Calciomercato.com, the negotiations for a new agreement have been stalled in recent months.

However, Milan directors want him to remain and are hopeful he will put pen to paper on an improved deal.

Pulisic currently earns €4m per season net, but the salary is not the only issue that will be up for debate.

The aim is to extend the contract to June 2029, though a lot depends on whether Milan get back into the Champions League immediately under coach Max Allegri.

A meeting with his agent is planned for the next break for international duty in October.
