There is some good news for Roma, because Tammy Abraham is back in the squad for the first time since a serious knee injury last season.

The Giallorossi host Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico at 17.00 GMT.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s five Serie A games on the LIVEBLOG.

Coach Daniele De Rossi released the squad available for this fixture and it includes Abraham on the bench.

The centre-forward tore his anterior cruciate ligament in June 2023 and had knee surgery at the end of last term.

He has been out of action for almost 300 days and has been posting Instagram videos of viewing the team from the stands of the Stadio Olimpico.

As of today, the former Chelsea striker is finally going to be sitting next to his teammates on the touchline.

Abraham scored 36 goals and provided 12 assists in 107 competitive matches in the Roma jersey.
