According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma striker Tammy Abraham is on the verge of joining West Ham on loan with an obligation to buy for circa €23m.

Roma and West Ham are finalising an agreement for English striker Abraham, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Rome-based paper claims that the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement over an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy. The whole transfer package is worth €22m-23m.

Abraham on the verge of joining West Ham from Roma: the details

Sky Sport Italia reported on Sunday that Abraham was already discussing his salary with the Hammers.

The English striker was an unused substitute in Roma’s 2-1 loss to Empoli on Sunday.

Even though the Giallorossi went two goals down in the second half, Daniele De Rossi introduced Eldor Shomurodov rather than Abraham, suggesting that a move for the ex-Chelsea striker is on the cards.

Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea in 2022 and has scored 37 goals in 120 appearances at the Stadio Olimpico.

  1. He would’ve made a decent signing for Milan it feels, watching their performance against Parma. They should’ve got a striker who’s not a 31 year old bum instead of adding Midfielders and defenders insensibly. Be it Gimenez, Bier or Sesko.
