Roma striker Tammy Abraham will undergo medical examinations at Villa Stuart today, but he is reportedly a major doubt for the upcoming match against Juventus due to a sprained ankle.
The Englishman limped off the pitch in his national team’s World Cup qualifier against Hungary last night.
England coach Gareth Southgate had introduced him at Wembley Stadium at the 76th minute, but the striker was forced off the pitch in the stoppages after a knock.
According to Calciomercato.com, Abraham has suffered a sprained ankle and will undergo medical examinations at Villa Stuart in Rome today to assess his recovery time.
Hopefully, his ankle won’t get swollen, so it won’t take an extra day to undergo in-depth tests.
Therefore, Abraham is a major doubt for Sunday’s Serie A match against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.
Although it is never a good moment for injuries, the Giallorossi hope the former Chelsea striker won’t spend too much time on the sidelines.
Roma have a few big games lined up they will be facing Bodo/Glimt, Napoli, Cagliari and Milan before the end of the month.
