Tammy Abraham has returned to Italy later than expected after an injury with England, but said he’ll ‘hopefully’ be ready to play for Roma against Juventus on Sunday.
The striker lasted just over 15 minutes as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Hungary at Wembley Stadium last night.
He had been expected to land with an earlier flight, which would’ve allowed him to have tests on his sprained ankle at the Villa Stuart clinic this afternoon.
However, Abraham arrived this evening and was met at the airport by Tuttomercatoweb reporters.
He told them he felt “fine” and was asked if he’ll be ready for Sunday’s game.
“Hopefully, yes,” was his response.
