Roma striker Tammy Abraham went over to the fans to apologise after the 3-2 defeat to Hellas Verona on Sunday.

The fans were singing despite the negative result and the English striker faced the curva, apologising for the performance against the Gialloblu.

At the end of the match, the former Chelsea striker went over to the away stands at the Bentegodi to apologise and the Giallorossi supporters respond with a chant where the whole curva takes part.

Roma now prepare for the next match against Udinese on Thursday, before playing Lazio at the Olimpico in the Derby della Capitale on September 26.

  1. The more I see this kid, the fonder I grow of him. Not his fault Roma lost, but he takes upon himself to offer a mea culpa. That’s class you can’t teach but can very much appreciate. Verona got in some lucky strikes in that game (was entertaining to watch). I’m still pulling for AC Milan this year, but I won’t mind seeing Roma make a challenging run.
