Conference League | Roma 4-0 Bodo/Glimt (5-2 agg): Zaniolo hat-trick books semi-final
Roma had never beaten Bodo earlier this season, having collected two defeats and one draw in the previous three meetings. However, Zaniolo inspired their victory last night, sparking celebrations inside a sold-out Stadio Olimpico.
The 22-year-old posted a classic picture with the ball of the game on social media, receiving plenty of likes and comments from fans, fellow footballers and teammates.
Leonardo Spinazzola, Tammy Abraham and Sergio Oliveira commented on his social media post and so did ex-Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani, Piero Gollini, on loan at Tottenham from Atalanta, and Mario Balotelli. Zaniolo has now scored seven goals in 35 appearances across all competitions this season. Abraham also congratulated his teammate with an Instagram story.
