President of Serie B Andrea Abodi believes "we must react quickly" after Catania executives were arrested over alleged match-fixing today.
Seven arrest warrants were reportedly issued earlier today and those arrested included Catania President Antonino Pulvirenti, Vice-President Pablo Cosentino and former sporting director Daniele Delli Carri.
Abodi, who has been Serie B President since 2010, spoke to Sky Sports about the latest unsavoury scandal to rock Italian football.

“This news leaves us shocked and we must react quickly,” he said.
“I hope that everything will be clarified as soon as possible and that the truth comes to light.
“In the case that the accusations are confirmed my response will be tough, because you have to make it clear that our world can’t accept any kind of compromise or accord that demeans sporting value.”
