Join us for all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s two Serie A games, as leaders Napoli host Lecce and Atalanta take on Hellas Verona.

It was meant to be three matches, but Bologna-Milan was called off due to severe weather and flood warnings.

We therefore begin at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT) with Napoli trying to strengthen their grip on the top of the table against troubled Lecce.

At 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), Atalanta aim to keep their positive run going against Verona after a frustrating Champions League blip.

Highlights: Napoli 1-0 Lecce

Giovanni Di Lorenzo (Napoli)
Luca Gotti (Lecce)

“I saw a solid team, both in football terms and in the desire to react to the situation that has been created. We want to emerge from this moment well and quickly,” Gotti told DAZN.

“This is one of the few times I’ve had Banda available with decent fitness. I actually kept him on 10 minutes longer than he could manage today, but if he’s fit then it goes without saying he’s in the starting line-up.

“During this period of the campaign, we have really struggled to convert our scoring opportunities and having Banda back should help, as we wanted to cause problems for Napoli on the counter.

“Precision is certainly an issue, but I hope that it was just a negative period where we got shaken by issues and paid a heavy price against Fiorentina. We tried to put ourselves on the right track today.

“I have too many Serie A games under my belt to be happy with losing honourably. Obviously, it’s very different to last week against Fiorentina and I will take the attitude of the team, both and after Napoli scored, as we tried to react and get the game back on level terms.

“It can only be valuable if we can show consistency and keep that going in future.”

Reminder: Bologna vs. Milan is OFF

Bologna-Milan was scheduled to kick off at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT), but was called off due to severe weather warnings in the area.

The Partenopei have now won eight of their last nine competitive matches, interrupted only by a 0-0 draw away to Juventus on September 21.

Incredibly, they have conceded only two goals in that spell, scoring 21.
