Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante and coach Daniele De Rossi were reportedly involved in a heated argument during the team’s training session at Trigoria on Wednesday afternoon.
Trouble in paradise at Roma?
Both Rai and Calciomercato report that the coach and his midfield mainstay exchanged ‘harsh’ words with each other during Wednesday’s session. Leandro Paredes was also brought up in the fiery exchange, according to recent updates.
Rai journalist Aurelio Capaldi adds that Cristante and De Rossi had to be separated after their verbal bust-up.
Calciomercato suggest that Roma have tried to ‘downplay’ the situation. Unsurprisingly, there has been no mention of the incident on the club’s official channels.
Roma are gearing up to face league leaders Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Serie A on Sunday night.
The Giallorossi have picked up just one point from their opening two matches of the season after drawing 0-0 with Cagliari on the opening weekend, before falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Empoli on Sunday.
Their singular point leaves them 15th in the Serie A table after two matches.

This club is full of drama & always have horrible management in their history. Lazio have (well not all of them, but most of them) toxic & delusional fans but they have much better management than Roma. That’s for sure.
Dybala’s stay forced Roma to push Cristante and Parades out.
@Omar. Lazio don’t have “toxic” fans. Don’t push your extreme anti Italian views here.
Can he try that rubish with mourino. I doubt.
