Luciano Spalletti picks a 3-4-2-1 system for Italy against Venezuela with Genoa striker Mateo Retegui starting up front.

It kicks off at 21:00 GMT at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. You can follow the build-up and live action as it happens on the Football Italia LIVEBLOG.

It’s only a friendly for the Azzurri but it will say a lot about how Spalletti is preparing the team ahead of the 2024 European Championship.

The Azzurri CT has picked a three-man defence with Alessandro Buongiorno, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Giorgio Scalvini.

Federico Dimarco starts on the bench making room for Destiny Udogie and Andrea Cambiaso on the flanks, while Manuel Locatelli and Giacomo Bonaventura start in central midfield

Genoa star Retegui is the chosen centre forward with Federico Chiesa and Davide Frattesi behind the 24-year-old.

Raoul Bellanova, Michael Folorunsho and Lorenzo Lucca are on the bench and could make their debut off the bench. The same is true of Tottenham keeper Guglielmo Vicario, who has always been included in the squad by Spalletti but has yet to make his Azzurri debut.
