Reports in Italy claim Liverpool and Newcastle United are among the clubs interested in Juventus star Federico Chiesa, who will listen to offers over the summer.
According to Friday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 16) the Italy international doesn’t feel ‘at the centre of the project’ at the Allianz Stadium, so he will be considering offers coming from other clubs in the summer.
Gazzetta confirms Chiesa could leave Juventus, so the Bianconeri have already met Nicolò Zaniolo and Wilfried Gnonto’s agent.
Both papers claim Liverpool are keeping a close eye on the ex-Fiorentina winger, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich are also interested, with the Bavarians who have already sounded out Chiesa’s availability.
The Rome-based paper claims Juventus’ asking price is in the region of €35m while according to Gazzetta, the Bianconeri will listen to offers from €40-45m.
Chiesa returned from a knee injury this season and scored four goals in 33 appearances. His contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025.
