The Inter team bus was held up by a combination of passionate fans, Milanese traffic and bad parking, so they were late to the Champions League semi-final against Milan.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The Rossoneri were able to arrive at 18.19 UK time, but Inter found themselves stuck just a few hundred metres from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for another 20 minutes.

There were a few problems that slowed down the progress of Simone Inzaghi and his squad, which did receive a police escort from the Appiano Gentile training ground.

The first was some illegal parking, which made it very difficult for the bus to get around the bend with a vehicle in the way.

That allowed the crowd of fans waiting for them to get closer and gather around to sing, chant and slap the sides of the bus to motivate their players.

It made it very difficult for them to make the final few hundred metres, even with the police escort getting out of the cars to create some space on foot with riot shields.

The Inter bus eventually arrived at 18.39 UK time, 20 minutes behind schedule.
