Angel Di Maria is ready to start for Juventus again as they search for redemption against Monza, gritting his teeth after a recent muscle injury.

The 34-year-old Argentinian forward’s condition has been shaky following his arrival in Turin. He has already missed four games across Serie A and the Champions League due to a tear in his abductor muscle but he’s keen to return to the starting lineup after his appearance off the bench in the 2-1 loss to Benfica.

As highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Di Maria did well in Juventus’ training session yesterday and Massimiliano Allegri is seriously considering starting him in tomorrow’s match against Monza, a must-win game for the Bianconeri after their horrendous Champions League performance against Benfica.

The Argentinian forward is keen to hit the ground running in Turin after his tough start and wants to help the Old Lady after their recent stumbles. The 34-year-old also wants to be fully fit in time for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
