Negotiations between Napoli and PSG for Keylor Navas and Fabian Ruiz are ongoing and the Partenopei director Maurizio Micheli reportedly met the Ligue 1 giants yesterday.

Ruiz has been frozen out of the squad after refusing to sign a contract extension at the Stadio Maradona. He dreams of joining Real Madrid as a free agent in one year, but is aware that he would not get any playing time if he stays in Naples until the end of the season. Therefore, he is starting to consider a move to PSG.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing and also involve Keylor Navas. The former Madrid star was not called up for the last Ligue 1 game due to an injury which, however, is not believed to be long-term.

Napoli are continuing negotiations with the 35-year-old and one of their directors, Maurizio Micheli, was in Paris yesterday.

Keylor has two years left in his contract in Paris and gets €9m per season. Napoli want to spread his remaining salary in Paris onto a longer deal with a signing bonus and add-ons.

If the Partenopei and Keylor don’t move forward with negotiations, Napoli will try to get Kepa from Chelsea in the last days of the summer transfer window.

  1. Holy smokes, 9M/season. Surely Gigio is paid more then?? (because there are rumours that he was offered around the same salary as Milan did)
