Hellas Verona will wear special jerseys against Napoli to honour Scudetto-winning goalkeeper Claudio Garella, who died this week at the age of 67.

It kicks off at the Stadio Bentegodi at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT).

You can follow the build-up and action as it happens on the LIVEBLOG.

Verona will wear special edition jerseys to mark the death of Garella, with his picture, name and dates on the inside of the shirt.

The back collar will have ‘Ciao Garellik’ as a message saluting the shot-stopper with his nickname.

In a sweet touch, the goalkeepers will wear new red and black jerseys that replicate the design Garella wore when defending the Verona goal in their historic Serie A winning campaign in 1984-85.

Today’s opponents at the Stadio Bentegodi are Napoli and Garella spent time with them too, winning the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia in the 1986-87 campaign.

Garella’s other clubs were Torino, Novara, Lazio, Sampdoria, Udinese and Avellino, when he hung up his gloves in 1991.
