Udinese and Salernitana meet at the Dacia Arena in a rearranged fixture that should have been played in December.

The Granata abandoned the game and were initially given a 3-0 loss by default and docked one point although the local health authority had prevented players from travelling to Udine for the game due to a COVID outbreak in the team.

The Serie A strugglers won the appeal, so the game has been rescheduled and will be played today at 17.45 UK time.

Udinese won the last three games in a row and are close to the 40-point mark. Salernitana are desperate for the three points, but still have a slight chance to survive with two games in hand, including this one.

The Friulani are without Roberto Pereyra and Beto (injured) and Nahuel Molina (suspended). Doubts in midfield with Lazar Samardzic favourite over Arslan. Ignacio Pussetto or Isaac Success in attack. Udinese have scored in the last eight Serie A games and managed at least two per game in the last three matches.

Salernitana must cope without Milan Djuric, Pasquale Mazzocchi, Obi, Matteo Ruggeri, Wajdi Kechrida, Lys Mousset, Mamadou Coulibaly and Riccardo Gagliolo. Luigi Sepe in doubt although he travelled with the team up north.

Circa 500 Granata fans travelling from Salerno. Franck Ribery favourite over Mikael to replace Djuric.

Salernitana won their last game at Sampdoria, but the last time they won two games in a row in Serie A was in 1999. However, they’ve collected three of their four away victories this season away from home. They have never scored, let alone won, away at Udinese.

Probable line-ups

Salernitana (3-5-2): Sepe; Gyomber, Radovanovic, Fazio, Zortea, L Coulibaly, Bohinen, Ederson, Ranieri; Ribery, Bonazzoli.
