Toronto are continuing to drop hints related to Lorenzo Insigne following reports that he’s signed a contract with the MLS club.
A recent report from La Repubblica has claimed that the 30-year-old Italian winger put pen to paper on a deal with the Canadian club a few days ago at the St Regis hotel in Rome. He’ll reportedly join the club on a free transfer at the end of this season, with a huge salary of €11.5m per year for five years plus €4.5m in performance related add-ons.

Toronto dropped another hint regarding Insigne on their Twitter page last night, posting a gif of Insigne’s goal against Belgium in Euro 2020 as well as the definition of the now-infamous word ‘tiraggiro’, which is often used to describe his signature curling shot.
The 30-year-old Italian winger will remain with Napoli until the end of the season, but soon his career-long affiliation with the Partenopei will come to an end.
