Lille forward Jonathan Ikoné is set to sign a five-year deal with Fiorentina today.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has been targeted by the Viola for some time now, with Vincenzo Italiano’s side looking to add some more attacking firepower to further exploit the qualities of star striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has scored 16 goals in 19 Serie A appearances this season.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Ikoné will arrive in Florence this morning in order to take his medicals with Fiorentina, before signing a five-year deal with the club.
The Viola will pay Lille €14m for the French forward, with an extra €1m in add-ons and a 15% future re-sale clause attached.
Ikoné has been a core part of Jocelyn Gourvennec’s squad in France this campaign, making 18 Ligue 1 appearances and five Champions League appearances. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists, being noted for his strong dribbling and accurate passing.
