Borja Valero replaced Ribery after 79 minutes in the Artemio Franchi clash and Ribery was visibly frustrated.
He had asked his coach to keep him on the pitch before the substitution, and when Prandelli replaced him, he had to explain to the French attacker the reason for his choice.
Ribery looked irritable and according to Il Corriere Fiorentino, his relationship with Cesare Prandelli is tense.
The former Bayern Munich winger is no new to reacting after being substituted.
The same happened during Vincenzo Montella’s tenure last season when the Aeroplanino replaced him during a game against Lazio.
Ribery’s contract with Fiorentina expires at the end of the season and the 37-year-old hadn’t ruled out the possibility of extending his stay at the club for one more season.
It is unsure whether his tense relationship with Cesare Prandelli will impact his future at the club as the coach is expected to leave the Franchi at the end of the season.
