Fiorentina midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura has suffered a muscle injury and could be out for two to three weeks.
The Viola announced the former Milan player, who was replaced before half-time in the 3-0 win over Spezia last time, will be reassessed in the coming days.
“ACF Fiorentina announce that Giacomo Bonaventura underwent diagnostic tests this morning which revealed a first-degree injury to the long flexor muscle of the big toe in the left leg,” the club wrote.

Sky Sport Italia reports the 31-year-old, who has played 22 times in Serie A this term, could face two to three weeks out.
Next up for the Viola is a trip to Udinese on Sunday, before back-to-back home games against Roma and Parma in Serie A.
