Suddenly, a few hours later, a statement was released confirming Genoa had sacked Faggiano.
He had only joined Genoa in August after a long experience at Parma.
It’s reported Faggiano’s entire staff has also been dismissed, leading to a completely clean slate at Genoa ahead of the January transfer window.
