Manchester United midfielder Pogba has been repeatedly linked with a return to Juventus and acknowledged as much in his Instagram message.

“Supporting our friends Blaise Matuidi, Albin Ekdal and all athletes and people around the world! Be strong, stay at home and be safe!

“(I know the cheeky ones will talk about the Juventus jersey. I'm just supporting my friends … that's all, nothing more).”

Pogba was specifically wearing Matuidi’s Number 14 Juventus shirt.

There are now 12 Serie A players confirmed positive for the coronavirus at Juventus, Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Hellas Verona.
