Parma are reportedly close to renewing Matteo Scozzarella’s contract at the Ennio Tardini and are expected to sign a deal latest on Thursday.
The 31-year-old’s current deal expires this June and Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the former Trapani player will sign a new contract until June 2022 in the coming days.
This term, Scozzarella has played 10 games in Serie A and one in the Coppa Italia and arrived from Trapani in January 2017.

At the same time, Roberto D’Aversa is on the lookout for a new striker and reports have arrived about a proposed attempt to sign Sebastiano Esposito on loan from Inter, despite the sporting director Daniele Faggiano revealing that he didn’t discuss the topic whilst at the Nerazzurri’s HQ today.
Roberto Ingelse will remain out with a long-term injury and Parma are looking for options in attack on the January market.
