Krzysztof Piatek has reportedly rejected offers from Genoa and Crystal Palace, as he wants to stay with Milan.

Piatek was signed a year ago from Genoa for €35m, but after a bright start for the Rossoneri, his form has dipped.

The striker has only scored five goals in the second half of 2019, with three of them coming from the penalty spot.

Milan have since signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, potentially leaving the Poland international permanently on the Rossoneri bench.

Calciomercato.com state that Piatek has rejected the notion of a return to Genoa, and also to Premier League side Crystal Palace, believing that if he’s to leave Milan, it’s for a team of similar stature.

There had also been talk of a swap with Roma involving Diego Perotti, but this too seems to have been shot down.

Piatek will stay at Milan until the end of the season, and then reassess his options, concludes Calciomercato.com.
