Fiorentina are interested in Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, according to a report in Italy.

La Nazione state that the Viola’s director of sport Daniele Prade is evaluating the prospect of bringing the Argentine to the Stadio Artemio Franchi next summer.

The 29-year-old can be used as a central defender or at left-back, with his versatility an appealing factor for Prade.

Rojo is thought to be valued at around €9m and a deal could be struck in January for a summer move.
