Juventus will be without Sami Khedira for three months after the midfielder underwent knee surgery.
Khedira has been struggling with knee problems recently and missed the 2-2 draw with Sassuolo last weekend.
The midfielder had keyhole surgery in his native Germany today, and Juve confirmed on their official website it was “perfectly successful”.
However, they added in their statement he had an expected recovery time of “around three months”.

His injury may open the door for Emre Can to re-establish himself, with the Bianconeri able to add him back into their Champions League squad this winter for the knockout stages.
