Dejan Stankovic is back working for Inter as a coach in their youth academy, returning to the club where he played from 2004-13.

The 41-year-old and Inter today announced ‘Deki’ is back at San Siro and will be part of the youth academy staff, “with focus on the formation of individual technique.”

He’ll get to work with his 17-year-old son, Filip, who plays for the Inter Primavera team as a goalkeeper.

The Serbian midfielder retired in the summer of 2013 and went to work with Andrea Stramaccioni’s assistant manager at Udinese in the 2014-15 campaign.

He was team co-ordinator for Inter in 2015-16, then took on a role as UEFA advisor, as well as TV pundit.

Stankovic played 326 competitive games for Inter, scoring 42 goals.
