The head of Italian Coaches suggests Carlo Ancelotti would be the best choice for Italy after Giampiero Ventura.
Reports emerged earlier on Wednesday that FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio had already reached out to Ancelotti after Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, and Renzo Ulivieri gave his blessing to the potential appointment.

“Ancelotti? He’d be the simplest solution and he’s liked by everyone,” the AIAC chief and former Bologna boss said before attending an FIGC meeting.
“The World Cup? Not qualifying is a problem. Tavecchio? I have confidence in this project.”
