Fiorentina CEO Andrea Rogg admits “certain offers are hard to reject” amid rumours Nikola Kalinic could move to China.

The striker is thought to be close to a €40m move to Tianjin Quanjian, which would earn him around €12m per season.

“It’s definitely a growing market,” Rogg told assembled media.

“The Chinese have huge amounts of capital to invest, and then there’s a political will to launch football there too and that affects the whole market.

“It’s clear that certain offers are hard to reject, and also that the players have to make their own reflections with these kind of offers in front of them.

“If a player is presented with 10 times his current salary, it’s obvious that it creates problems for the club he belongs to.”
