Milan striker Luiz Adriano is set to leave the club in January, but his price tag could prove to be a stumbling block.

Tuttosport reports that the Brazilian will be free to join another club during the transfer window, but the Rossoneri require €3m in an attempt to recoup some of his hefty transfer fee.

The 29-year-old joined the club in summer 2015, with the Diavolo paying an €8m fee to Shakhtar Donetsk for his services.

Adriano subsequently scored just four goals in that campaign and has played just 85 minutes of football this term, prompting Milan to offload the attacker for a cut-price fee.
