Former midfielder Marco Tardelli believes Juventus are “ready to go to a new level” in the Champions League.

The Bianconeri face Sevilla tonight in their first match of this season’s competition, having been knocked out in the Last 16 last year and lost in the final in 2014-15.

“The Champions League gives you prestige, exposure and, above all, a lot of money,” Tardelli pointed out to La Stampa.

“Before you can do well in the League, which was the first goal when I arrived at Juve, that’s how we thought.
