The Serbian Coach took over on the San Siro bench this summer, but has been the subject of constant barbs from President Silvio Berlusconi.

That has inevitably led to media speculation over his future, but the former Sampdoria boss is not concerned.

“There’s a proverb which says: a lion doesn’t lose sleep over the opinion of a sheep – it eats it,” Mihajlovic told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the Bologna game.

“The next three games are crucial, if we don’t do well it will start causing us problems. For us, every game is a turning point.

“With Frosinone we had the right attitude. If we go into every game with the concentration, anger and personality that these players came up with then we can beat anyone.

“Only Bayern [Munich] and Barcelona can win just because they’re technically better, everyone else has to have the right attitude.”

Mihajlovic was also asked about Keisuke Honda, who has given another interview in his native Japan in which he appears to criticise the club.

“I haven’t read it. Here he doesn’t speak, I see that when he’s there [Japan] there’s always talk. You’d have to talk to him, because these interviews are subject to translation [Japanese to Italian].

“It would be better if you could call Honda to make you understand.”
