Milan have announced that Mario Balotelli has had to see a Danish consultant for his groin injury.
The on-loan Liverpool striker has been out of action since September 27 and it remains unknown when he will return.
Further treatment will be required following the consultation, to be decided on between the Rossoneri and his parent club.
“AC Milan announce that today Mario Balotelli was subjected to a further consultation in Copenhagen with Professor Per Holmich,” read a statement on Milan’s official website.
