Roberto Donadoni says he is 'trying to figure out' Bologna, while calling for grit against Atalanta.

The former Azzurri Coach was hired to replace Delio Rossi and tomorrow will face his first test in the difficult mission of fixing the Felsinei.

“I'm trying to figure things out as quickly as possible, to learn my new reality quickly,” he said.

“Now we need clarity of ideas, with great simplicity and rationality, providing the correct incentives as early as tomorrow.

“I'm trying to figure things out as quickly as possible, to learn my new reality quickly,” he said.

“Now we need clarity of ideas, with great simplicity and rationality, providing the correct incentives as early as tomorrow.

“Atalanta are doing extremely well and they will come to Bologna with great mental drive.

“They did well to exploit the positive circumstances that they encountered in the game against Lazio. They're a team that's well deployed, with quick and efficient wingers, and they're dangerous in the box.

“Every point will be fundamental for us, so we'll go for it with all of our strength.

“Aside from [Marios] Oikonomou and [Bruno] Zuculini, who are recovering from long-term injuries, I've got my full team available.

“We'll need fresh energies because this will be a very taxing game, in which we'll have to run a lot.

“I'll be happy if my team show spirit of sacrifice. They must want to give their all for their teammates and for the good of the club.”
