FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio is ‘ready to renew’ Antonio Conte’s contract if the Italy CT asks.
The Azzurri Coach took over last summer after leaving Juventus, and despite some initial struggles, the head of the Federation would renew his contract in a heartbeat.
“Conte is one of the best Coaches I’ve known,” Tavecchio said at Coverciano.
“I’m ready to renew his contract if he asks, and obviously if it meets Puma’s conditions.”

There is a possibility Conte could face trial as part of a match-fixing investigation, but Tavecchio has faith in the Italy boss.
“We live in a country with a justice system. An indictment is not a conviction.”
