Roma defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa says Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko would suit playing in Serie A.
The Giallorossi are tracking the Bosnian forward as they seek to reinforce their squad, and having played against him in England, Yanga-Mbiwa thinks he’d fit in well.
“I think he has what it takes to play in the Italian League,” the centre-back told a Press conference at the Lupi’s pre-season training camp.

“He’s a great striker, he has everything needed to play here. The team would have to help him against catenaccio.”
The former Newcastle United man also spoke about his goal in the Rome derby, and admits it was life changing – though not always for the better, after he was assualted by some Lazio fans in a nightclub.
“The derby is very important, we were pleased to win it. It changed my life. I met some Lazio fans, they weren’t happy with my goal, that’s normal, it’s not dangerous.
“They wanted to win, I understand, but things like what happened after should not happen. I didn’t think about leaving Rome though.”
