Cesena President Giorgio Lugaresi has voiced his opposition to other clubs stepping in to ensure Parma can complete the season, and the Ducali patron says that’s not a problem.

“The President of Cesena is right,” Manenti told Radio 24.

“I don’t expect anything from the Lega and FIGC, we don’t want help, we’ll move forward under our own strength.

“If the regulations don’t require intervention from the Lega, then there must not be any.

“In principle, I’ll meet with [Parma’s] mayor Pizzarotti, but I won’t take the accounts to court, we still have a workable plan to save Parma.

“The match? Parma will play on Sunday, no problem.”
