“I'm very happy to be here and to be part of this group.

“I already spoke with [Coach Filippo] Inzaghi, there is a strong drive to do well and to prove that Milan is a great team, starting from this Sunday.

“I can't wait to get on to the pitch and play. As for my role, the Coach will decide. I have a great desire to impress.

“I haven't chosen my shirt number yet, I'll do that in the next few hours. This is a great opportunity for me, I can't wait to play and get to know everyone.

“I send my greetings to the tifosi, we'll do everything we can to have a great championship.”
