Juventus have confirmed that Hordur Magnusson will join newly-promoted Cesena on loan next season.

The 21-year-old defender was co-owned by the Bianconeri and Spezia last term, but is now fully a Juve player after they purchased the remaining 50 per cent of his rights earlier in the summer.

However, the Iceland international will go to Pierpaolo Bisoli’s men for the upcoming campaign.

“Hordur Magnusson has this afternoon joined Serie A newcomers Cesena on a one-season loan deal,” Juventus’ official website read.

“The 21-year-old defender, who spent the last campaign on a co-ownership deal with Spezia, will continue his development at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi after Juventus purchased the remaining 50 per cent of his registration rights.”
